Brar Construction and Development Inc. has three main ways of offering its services: Design/Build Services, General Contracting, and Construction Management. Listed below is a brief description of the three project service methods.

Design/Build:

This is based on the idea of combining designing and constructing a project as one course in a contract. The basis is that the two aspects that are the bulk of expertise are so closely related that it is inefficient to hire an architect and then wait until the design is completed to hire a general contractor. This method combines the two to improve cost and time of the project.


General Contracting:

Apart from our other two services, general contracting excludes the construction professional from design and planning of a project. When the need for a new building arises, the owner hires an architect to design it. The architect then draws up a complete set of construction documents. Then, the project is set up for several general contractors to bid on the contract, which is usually given to the lowest bidder to decrease costs.
 
General contracting is fitting for an owner who has the in-house knowledge necessary to manage all of the pre-construction and construction tasks. Though it may be simple to manage and economically frugal, general contracting is neither the quickest or most economical path in delivering a project.
 

Construction Management:

Construction Management combines the project planning, design, bidding, and construction aspects into the overall construction procedure. These jobs are divided amongst the construction team which include the owner, the construction professional and the architect. Our team works together from start to finish with one thing in mind; to complete the project while best serving the interests of the client. Another advantage of construction management is that it lends itself to phase construction also known as fast tracking. The term fast tracking simply means that the design and construction phase overlaps each other. Construction management can produce substantial time and monetary savings and the elimination of any uncertainty that may arise during the project.
